Niddy Speaks

Achievements and happenings in his career to offer our readers a bit of compare and contrast to whats the "norm" for an aspiring artist in independent music today. Niddy expressed a need for education, he started his career in film school. Shortly after graduating film school Niddy proceeds to work with up and coming superstars of the era Swizz Beatz and Gipp from Goodie Mob in a short film called "groupies". Niddy states he stayed active in the music scene by taking jobs with music production and engineering to a very broad spectrum of clients versatility is key for longevity in the music industry achieved only by having clear and achievable goals/leadership and the ability to stay in tune with cutting edge situations.
Pt. 2: Life at the TopIn this segment the conversation focused on what life was like for Niddy at the peak of his production career. The ability to stay in control of the creative process and what your brand stands for is key to making a statement industry wide, Niddy adds in every new situation you will almost always work from the bottom up which means paying dues with each new endeavor. My next question to Niddy was "how much of the industry is smokescreen" Niddy gave a quick and witty response in saying 90% of the industry is for the cameras. If i had to paraphrase that statement id say it's a lot of hard work and precise money management in mainstream music the TV makes it look easy... My final question was "what was the most gratifying part of what you accomplished and how were you able to give back? his answer "by looking back on all the small goals you've accomplished in an effort to assemble your dream" Niddy gives back by being community oriented especially when it comes to the kids and supporting their artistic side.
Pt. 3: Whats New with Niddy?Niddy introduces his official titles as international producer/manage/a&r put them all together that equals music mogul! His breakout international (kpop) Korean pop project wen #19 on the world billboard charts, Niddy got into kpop when he managed an artist tha turned heads even in the American platform he realised there was an untapped market for this genre and went for gold! Niddy also is building his brand on American soil helping any aspiring artist with a budget achieve national recognition in the music biz! STL The Movie

Wasup everybody its ya boy mike tree! Checking in this month to spread the word about the opportunity to speak with the screenplay writer J-Wha. The conversation started on a rather Wha. The conversation started on a rather humble note after I congratulated J-Wha  on not only a finished project but a highly anticipated feature presentation J-Wha immediately gave credit to the city of St. Louis for being the inspiration to bring this film into fruition. My 1st question for J-Wha was “what is it about the movie that the streets are craving to see” his response, “1st off we had the #1 film company in the city direct the project (niya films) and secondly the film is called #stl so naturally the city stand behind the project 100% … last but not least he mentioned the all-star cast with well known names like Ycstl, BoDean, Guddah goon, Brittany J!! Bottom line this film will put on for the city in a major way so I want everyone to follow the “new scene news” page on face book and like this link for full info in support of this film. www.facebook.com/stlmovie
